The woman fought the disease for many years. When she became weaker, thin, and her hair fell out in patches due to chemicals, her husband was no longer there to encourage her like on the wedding day. Instead, he became more and more alienated, then bluntly left, shoulder to shoulder with his beautiful young mistress.

He thought gloatingly: “I’m free from the burden, I finally have new happiness.”
But unexpectedly, the woman on the hospital bed smiled quietly, still clenching a prepared set of papers in her hand.

The day she breathed her last, the funeral took place. The husband and his mistress still came, trying to show mercy, but in his stomach he thought that the fortune would soon belong to him.

Then, when the atmosphere of mourning had not yet subsided, her lawyer appeared. He solemnly opened the sealed envelope and read aloud the contents of the will:

– “All assets including the house, savings book, and life insurance amount… I left it to the Oncology Center – which wholeheartedly treated and accompanied me in the last years of my life. And the husband abandoned me… I didn’t leave anything behind. Even the wedding photo, I would like to take it to the grave.”

The whole room was silent. The husband turned pale, his legs bent down. But the shock didn’t stop there.

The lawyer folded the will and handed him another file:
“Ah, there’s one more thing. In the process of making a will, she also requested… leaving all evidence of adultery to the court.”

The mistress heard this in a panic, and there were no drops of blood on her face. She sneaked back in the crowd, then disappeared immediately after the funeral, leaving the helpless and humiliated man in the midst of many angry eyes.
