Cardi B Vows She Won’t Drink Again, Why?
Few names in the music industry are as big as Cardi B. The world-renowned rapper made recent headlines following the announcement she’d be divorcing her husband and fellow rapper, Offset. This news came on the heels of the birth of the couple’s third child. Ever since then, Cardi B has been enjoying her life to the fullest. She recently was behind the bar at a gentleman’s club mixing drinks for lucky guests. However, the iconic rapper also recently revealed that she’d abstain from drinking in the future. What made her decide it’s finally time to put alcohol aside for drinks like water and soda?
Why Cardi B Won’t Drink Anymore
Following her 32nd birthday party in New York City, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper posted a series of videos on her Instagram story, via Page Six, where she professed that she’d never drink again. In the videos, she appeared to still have on her makeup and lashes from the night before. Her hair appeared to be knotted and spread in different directions. She filmed herself saying, “I will never, ever drink again. I will never. Pray for me. Wait, I’m still drunk.”

It’s refreshing to hear from celebrities to know they have the same experiences as average people who are not on the same financial level, especially after a night out on the town. It appears that Cardi B had a great birthday celebration and is enjoying the single life. The combination of officially being single and her excitement for another birthday created the perfect storm for a party.
Cardi B And Offset’s Divorce
Hip-hop fans around the world were obsessed with Cardi B and Offset’s marriage, even though there were plenty of ups and downs throughout. There were numerous rumors of Offset being unfaithful during the bulk of their time together, even though they tied the knot in 2017. What sent fans into real shock was the rumor that Cardi B had relations with someone else, while eight months pregnant.
This was likely the ultimate revenge she wanted against her now ex-husband before officially filing for divorce. There’s been plenty of speculation that the person she cheated with was NFL star receiver Stefon Diggs. The pair haven’t been seen together in public at all, which means the hookup was likely a one-time event. However, since it is the middle of the NFL season, Diggs likely doesn’t have tons of time to hang out with Cardi B. Fans will have to wait and see if the pair makes any appearances together after the football season is done. For now, Cardi B sounds like she’s going to spend a while without consuming any more alcohol.
