Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend’s ‘disrespectful’ act as rival fires shot at Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce has been told to get a restraining order as a furore between his ex-partner and girlfriend Taylor Swift erupted at the Super Bowl.

Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole has danced on the Kansas City Chief star’s grave at Super Bowl LIX.

Kelce’s was seen in tears at the end of the game after his team was demolished 40-22 by the Philadelphia Eagles in New Orleans.

Nicole switched her allegiance to the Eagles — and boasted about it in a series of photos and videos taken from inside Caesars Superdome on Monday (AEDT).

The reality TV star was seen in a sea of green celebrating among Eagles players — and shamelessly rubbed it in Kelce’s face, as you can see in the video below.

The 33-year-old split from the NFL tight end in 2022.

She filmed herself walking down to the field and blew a pile of green and white confetti out of her hands in another celebratory Instagram Story video captioned, “They said there’s room on the wagon yall.”

One Instagram clip showed her talking to a member of the Chiefs staff when she was asked, “Who broke up with you?”

After her inaudible response, the Chiefs official was heard saying: “I guess you could say that’s disrespectful.”

Kelce was told by one fan commenting on Nicole’s posts to “get a restraining order” because of how obsessed Nicole still appears to be with him.

Her posts were also applauded by fans for being “petty”.

Her antics were just the tip of the iceberg of the disrespect shown to Kelce.

Eagles safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson took an unprovoked shot at the 35-year-old and his pop megastar partner Taylor Swift after the game.

Gardner-Johnson appeared to criticise Kelce for breaking up with Nicole in bizarre Instagram posts in the middle of the Eagles’ Super Bowl celebrations.

“Should’ve stayed with that thick s****,” he wrote atop an in-game picture of him and Kelce on his Instagram Story.

Hours later, Gardner-Johnson seemingly confirmed he was taking a swipe at Swift by re-posting an image of Nicole posing in a bikini alongside his original post. The photos of Nicole were published on Instagram in May, 2024.

The Philadelphia defensive player, who is known for his trash talk, then deleted the re-post amid mounting backlash for body-shaming the pop star, The New York Post reports.

Kelce dated Nicole on and off for five years before breaking up for good in May, 2022. While the influencer has shared insight into her romance with the NFL star, Kelce rarely makes comments about their relationship.

It’s because it ended in messy fashion

The former couple packed on the PDA in 2020 when the Chiefs won the Super Bowl against the San Francisco 49ers.

She reflected on their time together in an interview with People Friday, claiming to have put her “goals and dreams on the back burner” to support the athlete.

The pair were broken up by the time Kelce’s Missouri-based team won the Super Bowl again in 2023 — and again the following year.

Kelce, additionally, had unfollowed Nicole via Instagram after she publicly thirsted over Eagles quarter-back Jalen Hurts.

Kelce and Swift had gone public with their romance two months prior.

The three-time Super Bowl Champion began dating the Grammy winner around July 2023 and the pair have been going strong ever since.

Swift was sitting in a suite alongside Kelce’s family and friends while Nicole cheered from a different spot in the stands. Swift was booed by spectators when she was shown on the big screen inside the stadium.

While the “Fortnight” singer rooted for the Chiefs, Nicole proudly supported the men in green.

The “Special Forces” reality TV star posted a video chanting the Eagles fight song, joking, “Where’s the bandwagon emoji?”

The Eagles defensive squad completely shut down the Chiefs offensive scheme, sacking quarterback Patrick Mahomes six times and forcing three turnovers.

They held Kelce to just four receptions for 39 yards. Despite his lacklustre performance, the numbers pushed him past Jerry Rice for the most career receptions in Super Bowl history.

However, Kelce didn’t seem to care about the accomplishment as he spoke to reporters after the game.

“[We] couldn’t get it going offensively,” the teary-eyed tight end said in an X video.

“I mean, they just got after us on all three phases and then on top of that, you know, turnovers, penalties, playing behind the sticks on offense.

“We haven’t played that bad all year,” Kelce continued. “You don’t lose like that without everything going bad.”

Kelce now enters an off-season with one glaring question about his next steps as retirement buzz swirls.

When asked last week during the official Super Bowl media day where he sees himself in three years, Kelce replied, “I don’t know. Hopefully, still playing football.”

“I love doing this. I love coming into work every day. I feel like I’ve still got a lot of good football left in me. We’ll see what happens. I know I’ve been setting myself up for other opportunities in my life.

“That’s always been the goal, knowing that football only lasts so long. You’ve got to find a way to get into another career and another profession. I’ve been doing that in my off-seasons. But for the most part I plan on being a Kansas City Chief and playing football.
