Taylor Swift receives exciting news amid Travis Kelce engagement rumors

Singer Taylor Swift has landed some huge news, as the rumors she might have gotten engaged to athlete boyfriend Travis Kelce continue to grow.
The couple’s relationship is regularly in the spotlight, with fans desperate to know when they will be ready to take the next step. Now the NFL season has ended following the Super Bowl, it’s thought that the quiet time could be when the couple’s relationship hots up.
This year sees Taylor able to enjoy some downtime too, as she’s no longer on her worldwide Eras tour which saw her perform across the globe. The tour has now received a huge accolade, as the record-breaking tour will be named Tour of the Century at the 2025 iHeart Radio Music Awards on March 17.
The Eras tour ran from March 2023, before Taylor and Travis’ romance was confirmed, to December 2024 and it featured 149 shows. It generated more than $2 billion in ticket sales, and is the highest-grossing tour in history.
The iHeart Radio Music Awards next month also sees Taylor nominated for numerous awards, including Artist of the Year, Pop Artist of the Year, Best Collaboration (Fortnight), Best Lyrics (Fortnight), Best Music Video (Fortnight), Favorite Surprise Guest (Travis Kelce), Favorite Tour Style, Favorite Tour Tradition (22 hat) and Favorite On Screen.
The news also comes as the rumors that Taylor and Travis could be getting close to taking a huge step in their relationship continue. The couple have been dating since August 2023, but in recent months the gossip suggesting they could get engaged has reached fever pitch.

At the end of January, it was thought Travis might have even popped the question already, or that 2025 could be the year he finally gets down on one knee. This is not the first time it has been speculated that Travis and Taylor will get engaged since as rumors have circulated since they first got together.
As Travis’ team Kansas City Chiefs prepared for the recent Super Bowl against the Philadelphia Eagles, many fans thought if the reds had won then we could even have seen an on-pitch proposal from Travis to Taylor. However the Chiefs were beaten, smashing the dreams of a perfect proposal.
Before the game, one person on X wrote, “Just in case you guys haven’t read the script yet: Chiefs win and Travis Kelce proposes to Taylor Swift on the field during the celebration. Shortly after, Kelce announces his retirement.” Another person wrote, “Taylor and Travis will get engaged at the Super Bowl. I promise.” A third user posted, “The Chiefs are gonna win the Super Bowl and Travis Kelce is gonna propose to Taylor Swift.” A fourth wrote, “Is it crazy to think that Travis Kelce might propose to Taylor Swift at the Super Bowl if they win?”
