Cardi B shares rare snap of daughter, six months, as Offset requests joint legal custody amid ugly divorce
Cardi B has shared a rare social media snap of her six-month-old daughter, amid her ugly divorce from the baby’s father Offset.
Offset and Cardi carried on a turbulent on-off romance since early 2017, welcoming their daughter Kulture, six, and son Wave, three, as well as their infant.
The couple broke up for the last time last summer, when Cardi, 32, filed for divorce from Offset while pregnant with their youngest child.
In a heartwarming post on her Insta Stories this Friday, Cardi kept her focus away from her disintegrating marriage and zeroed it in on her bundle of joy, who is rumored to be called either Blossom or Bloom.
She uploaded a picture of her little girl on her hands and knees, crawling or on the verge of doing so, and cooed in the caption: ‘My baby so chunkyyy’.
The photo came as it emerged Offset, 33, has requested joint legal custody of the three children he shares with his estranged wife.

Legal documents reviewed by TMZ revealed that the Atlanta-bred star does, however, think 32-year-old Cardi’s home should be the kids’ primary residence.
Offset, real name Kiari Cephus, also wants the court to outline each parent’s child support responsibilities.
Furthermore, he asks that the exes’ marital assets are divided by the court, and that each party pay their respective legal fees.
Offset and Cardi’s tumultuous relationship has been off and on for years, and last summer was the third time the Bodak Yellow hitmaker filed for divorce.
Cardi, who was born Belcalis Almanzar, announced her pregnancy on August 1, one day after she filed to dissolve her marriage with the Migos member.
She previously initiated a divorce in September 2020, but backtracked on the decision two months later.
A rep told People last summer that the latest filing was ‘not based on cheating rumors, but rather has been a long time coming.’
A friend of Cardi’s also told the publication that the divorce filing was ‘something that they had been discussing and talking about for a while.’

The person explained, ‘It wasn’t like, “Oh, she woke up one day, some incident happened, and this was it.” She’s been very calm about everything, and she’s focused on her kids.
‘She is excited about this new baby, and she’s recording, so everything with her is actually pretty good.’
It was added that the two music artists, who often collaborated over the years, had issues for ‘at least a year or so.’
While the split began amicably, with Cardi publicly praising Offset as a great father, things have since turned ugly.
The estranged spouses’ bitter feuding has spilled onto the internet, with the two spewing vitriolic messages on social media.
Offset accused his ex of being ‘single and miserable,’ prompting her to clap back, ‘I don’t bother none of the hoes you f**k, but every guy I talk to [you’re] DMing and talkin’ s**t about me.’
Cephus previously claimed that the only reason he hasn’t signed the divorce papers is because he wants Cardi to agree to split custody of their children.
In the wake of their fiery split, the I Like It artist has been romantically linked to Houston Texans wide receiver Stefon Diggs.
