Cardi B blames Donald Trump for ruining her $3,000 shoes at the Super Bowl and makes shock demand as payback

Rapper Cardi B has claimed that President Donald Trump‘s appearance at the Super Bowl on Sunday caused her to damage a $3,000 pair of Christian Louboutin heels.

The rap star, 32, took to Instagram to vent about the situation after Sunday’s big game, telling fans in a live video that Trump’s large security detail had an unwanted impact on her day.

Trump, 78, became the first sitting president to attend a Super Bowl, meaning special measures were taken to ensure his safety at the event held in New Orleans‘ Caesars Superdome stadium.

This meant that even VIP guests were also affected as Cardi explained: ‘I was too f**king mad today because, you know, Donald Trump and s**t.

‘He was at the Super Bowl today, and they were giving us a hard time.’

Recalling the change in security measures, she continued: ‘Oh my gosh. The Secret Service was not playing at that motherf**ker.

‘The Secret Service was not playing to get in that motherf**king stadium. Oh my god. F**ked up my shoe.’

The WAP hitmaker then showed off her spiked high heels, highlighting the signs of wear and tear to the camera.

Cardi, who famously raps about ‘red bottoms’ in her hit song Bodak Yellow, appeared to be holding the brand’s Estepic Sandal Alta.

The black peep-toe platform sandal complete with silver spikes currently retail for $3,295.

She then claimed that the damage happened when she was forced to walk due to the Secret Service putting a stop to cart services at a certain point in the night.

Cardi continued: ‘Looked how f**ked up my shoes — look at my shoe. Shoes cost me three bands [slang for $3,000].

‘All ’cause of Trump. Now I like him lesser. Now I like him lesser beause you ain’t have to come to no damn Super Bowl.

‘F**kin up my shoe. Now I don’t really like him.’

Cardi then tried to find a way to get something positive from the situation as she brought up a way in which Trump could make it up to her.

The star, was vocal in her support for former Vice President Kamala Harris during the 2024 election, revealed that her uncle had been deported since Trump returned to the White House.

She suggested that the President should reverse the action as she stated: ‘Now he’s going to have to — well he definitely ain’t going to do that. Bring my uncle to come back because my uncle got deported!’

Meanwhile, Cardi B is also amidst her ongoing divorce from fellow music artist Offset – whom she married back in 2017.

The estranged couple share three children: daughter Kulture, six, son Wave, three, and a baby girl born in September 2024.

She filed for divorce from Offset last year in July after nearly seven years of marriage amid cheating rumors – which he denied. In her filing, she requested ‘primary custody’ of their three children.

At the time, a source told Page Six, ‘They’ve grown apart. That’s what drove her to this decision more than anything else. This is something she wants to do.’

A representative for Cardi B also informed People that the divorce is, ‘not based on cheating rumors, but rather has been a long time coming.’

A close pal of the beauty also told the outlet that the pair’s divorce is, ‘something that they had been discussing and talking about for a while…’
