Taylor Swift was all smiles on her pre-Super Bowl night out with Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes – just days after the pair’s controversial praise for Donald Trump.
Less than 48 hours before the NFL’s end-of-season showpiece, Kelce and Mahomes enjoyed some downtime in New Orleans after heading on a double date with their ladies.
The group, which also included Patrick’s wife Brittany, were seen entering and leaving popular French restaurant Lilette on Magazine Street, where a large crowd of fans had gathered to catch a glimpse of them.
A beaming Swift, wearing a black dress and matching Eleonor boots courtesy of shoe designers Larroude, looked in fine spirits as she made her way out of the venue with Kelce, despite her die-hard legion of fans being left outraged by his glowing remarks about Trump this week.
The president, who controversially said he ‘hates’ Taylor in September amid her support for his election rival Kamala Harris, will be at the Superdome when Travis and the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Philadelphia Eagles at Super Bowl LIX.
And when asked for his thoughts on Trump attending Sunday’s game, Kelce gushed to reporters that it will be an ‘honor’ to play in front of him despite his bad blood with Swift.
