Mahomes, 29, has largely kept a low profile since the Super Bowl loss to the Philadelphia Eagles last month.
His team were thrashed 40-22 at the Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.
And it dashed the Chiefs’ hopes of a historic three-peat.
The quarterback was spotted watching his alma mater Texas Tech play college basketball recently.
But he has largely been busy focusing on his physical condition.
He shared a new video on Instagram in the gym this week, working out with his new haircut.
And fans couldn’t help but marvel at his work ethic and the shape he’s in.
“Love his determination,” one said.

In a previous pic he posted online, fans were convinced he had lost weight since the Super Bowl.
Mahomes is listed at 225lbs on the Kansas City Chiefs website.
He has previously gone viral for having a “dad bod.”
The quarterback explained he carried extra weight to help him absorb the impact of hits from defenders.
“I use those hips and that oblique muscle to really rotate through there,” he said.
“The people who see the dad bod, that’s for a reason – that’s the obliques. I’m getting them right.”
The Chiefs were beaten 40-22 by the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX.
He was sacked six times by a rampant Eagles defence and had two interceptions.
“Losing the Super Bowl just doesn’t feel good either way,” Mahomes said after the game.
“I was proud of how my team fought this entire season with the “expectations that we had on us.
“But we came up short and so now it’s how you respond.
“Hopefully we can learn from this like we learned from the last loss that we had and try to continue to get even better.
“It’s going to take better football, especially for me to try to make a run at another Super Bowl.”
