Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes headed to the Super Bowl on Sunday in a green suit – the color of the team he is facing in New Orleans, the Philadelphia Eagles.
The main man for the Chiefs was filmed by cameras leaving his team hotel looking suave in a green suit and matching tie which was surprisingly in the colors of the team he is focusing on beating.
‘Patrick Mahomes is pulling off the ultimate power move: He’s wearing a green suit to the Super Bowl,’ CBS reporter John Breech wrote on X as he shared the clip of Mahomes boarding the team bus.
Another fan replied to the footage that was rapidly circulated online saying: ‘Pat Mahomes pulling up in an Eagles green suit is certainly a statement.’
NFL analyst Nick Wright shared the clip and said: ‘Mahomes outfit choice is the behavior of a true psychopath and I fully support it.’
Another verdict read: ‘Mahomes is rocking an Eagles green double breasted suit. The gall. I love it.’
