Sunny Hostin said she was “profoundly disturbed” by Donald Trump’s return to the White House and was disappointed by the outcome of the presidential election.

The other View presenters, in addition to Sunny Hostin, have been outspoken in their support of Kamala Harris, Trump’s electoral rival. They called Trump “psychotic” and talked about his “levels of depravity” with their guests during the election process. “I believe that in 2016, we had no idea what a Trump government would bring, but now we do. On the show, Hostin stated, “We now know that we will have almost unfettered power.”

As promised, Sunny Hostin cancelled her X account after Trump’s victory, claiming she didn’t want anything to do with Elon Musk, who had now formally joined the US government as a “special government employee,” namely the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). She declared, “I will not purchase a Tesla or purchase Tesla stock.” She also mentioned how Musk destroyed Twitter once he gained control of it, even though she used to adore it.

According to Decider, she stated, “Elon Musk changed the name of Twitter to X, which was stupid, after it was a hellscape.” She also added, “Nobody calls it X!”

Several media outlets recently claimed that Musk was “b*d” by Sunny Hosting on The View. According to the article, Joy Behar, another host, even apologised to the tech magnate, stating that Hostin’s viewpoint was not representative of The View’s.
