Adam Schefter is one of the top football analysts in the world, and his reputation is up there with some of the top dogs in sports. Because he is so respected, NFL fans listen to him, and some recent suggestions he may have made excite fans.
The NFL is the top football league in the world, and of course, with the game comes the business, which is one of the most challenging aspects of the sport. It has been quite the off-season and according to Schefty, things could get a little more crazy.
So far this off-season, the trade market has seen a few big names move cities, and of course, along with those big names (namely Deebo Samuel and Laremy Tunsil among others), some picks were traded, but none were that significant.
On Monday, Adam Schefter posted to X, saying, “So far, there have been no trades involving 1st-round picks in the 2025 NFL Draft. This is the closest to the start of the NFL Draft in which there have been no trades for 1st-round picks since 1993, when five days before that year’s Draft, the Chiefs traded a first-round pick to the 49ers in exchange for QB Joe Montana, per ESPN’s @EpKap.”

While nothing has yet to be confirmed, NFL fans are speculating in the comment section that the NFL analyst could possibly be hinting at a huge forthcoming trade. Could we see a huge trade involving some first-round picks?
“Either teams are really confident in their spots, or we’re in for some last-minute chaos,” said one user.

Fans are going to be keeping an eye on some possible huge movements for the upcoming April 24th draft in Green Bay, as it does indeed seem like Schefter is hinting at something huge. Who really knows what will come next, but odds are Adam Schefter will break the news.
