Another concerning report about Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders from the NFL Scouting Combine has emerged.

Shedeur Sanders is one of the top two quarterback prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft, along with Miami’s Cam Ward. But unlike previously highly-touted QBs like Joe Burrow, C.J. Stroud, Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels, scouts and analysts are divided on Shedeur’s ability to succeed in the NFL.

Speaking on the latest edition of his show at The Ringer, NFL Draft analyst Todd McShay detailed more concerns about Sanders coming out of the Combine. McShay spoke to people who were involved in meetings with Sanders, and they weren’t exactly pleased with what came out of those:

“The two people that I spoke to were in meetings and had these individual meetings that I just laid out to you what they are, who’s in there and why they’re important — teams in the top 10 drafting that need a quarterback.

The two people that I spoke to in these positions left the meeting feeling like Shedeur Sanders was not overly concerned with what they thought of him. They had a 15-minute meeting with them, and when they were done, they both said in different ways, different words, that they did not feel like Shedeur Sanders cared all that much about what that organization thought of him.”

McShay clarified that Sanders didn’t do anything “disrespectful” during the meetings. Still, this is awfully noteworthy considering that Sanders is widely projected to be a top-five selection.

On Monday, NFL insider Josina Anderson said she spoke to one NFL quarterbacks coach who found Sanders “brash” and “arrogant” in their interviews. The QBs coach is employed by a team with a top-seven pick.

In his final season at Colorado, Sanders threw for 4,134 yards and 37 touchdowns against 10 interceptions. His teammate, two-way star Travis Hunter, is expected to be a top-three draft pick.

Which Teams Could Target Shedeur Sanders?

The Tennessee Titans hold the No. 1 pick, but it remains to be seen if they take a quarterback with that selection. If so, it would likely be the more polished Cam Ward.

Sanders at No. 2 feels like a reach for the Cleveland Browns, but the New York Giants (No. 3), Las Vegas Raiders (No. 6) and New York Jets (No. 7) stand out as logical landing spots for Sanders. All three teams enter the offseason with pressing needs at QB, and Sanders would sell a lot of tickets and merchandise for those big-market clubs.
