Baylor @ Lsu – NCAA Game Recap for December 31, 2025

As he took in one of the most storied rivalries in college sports, he did so while being joined by Vice President-elect JD Vance and X owner Elon Musk.

Musk made sure to highlight that moment by taking to his account and posting a picture that featured all three of them on the JumboTron.

“Donald Trump, Elon Musk and JD Vance had a warm welcome at the Army-Navy game. Elon’s got Path of Exile 2 on his mind,” one fan said.

“President-elect Donald Trump attended the 125th Army-Navy football game in Maryland, where he saluted during the national anthem, drawing cheers from the crowd.,” another fan added.

“When I look at this, why do I get the feeling that I’m looking at the second coming of the founding fathers/greats? Trump — Washington / Roosevelt, Vance — Jefferson / Jackson, Musk — Franklin / Hamilton, Johnson — Adams/ Madison,” one eager fan suggested.

CLPod 74: The Cs teams that never were, late summer moves & more
Two months out from the start of the regular season, and nearly half as long from camp, more than a few of us are starting to get antsy without basketball to watch. With that in mind, we decided it was time to dust off the microphones and record an episode of the CLPod to talk about the (very few) moves of note going down since the last time we recorded two weeks ago.And with the team in a liminal space between seasons, neither last season’s Celtics nor the next, Mark Allison and Justin Quinn got to thinking about all the different ways this timeline of Boston’s journey from one contending squad to the next could have gone differently. So, we put our heads together, and tried to imagine how the Cs might look if Danny Ainge had kept the last title team together longer, or if Brad Stevens had said no, or if Boston hadn’t signed Al Horford, or…well, you’ll have to listen to hear them all.So, if you’re as ready as we are for some real, live NBA games that count, you’re going to have to wait a while. But if you want some news and analysis on not just this timeline, but several others we don’t happen to be on, buckle up and listen to this week’s CLPod – we have at least another month of doldrums ahead of us, and a lot to be thankful for, if our thought experiments are as realistic as we think they are.Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/celtics-lab-nba-basketball-podcast/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy Learn more about your ad choices. Assessing the West ahead of the NBA’s 2023-24 season with Jack Simone
With the offseason just weeks away from training camp, most of the teams around the NBA have pretty close to the version of their roster that will be taking the floor on opening night under contract, even if they may need to make a few more moves around the margin to get to that point. That makes league analysts and fans of the Boston Celtics and the rest of the league able to get a pretty good idea about just how likely each team in the Association is to winning it all, tearing it down, or living in the spaces between those two poles. So with that in mind, the hosts of the CLNS Media “Celtics Lab” podcast linked up with Spurs Wire editor Jack Simone to project the order of the NBA’s Western Conference for the looming 2023-24 season. With sportsbooks like Fan Duel predicting Boston as among the most likely ball clubs to come out of the East, there’s a good chance the teams we picked as contenders could face the Celtics in their first return to the NBA Finals since 2022 — and even if they don’t, it’s good to know a bit about the teams Boston will face in their push to get back there. Maine’s title run and Celtics full-season hardware with Noa Dalzell
The Boston Celtics’ regular season is over, and the team is gearing up for the 2024 NBA Playoffs while waiting to hear back on whether any members of the organization will take home some hardware for their league-best season. But it is not just Boston in the title hunt this postseason suiting up with letters on the front that read “Celtics”. The team’s Portland-based G League affiliate, the Maine Celtics, are also in the mix to hang a banner, with Maine poised to win their first-ever G League title in that league’s finals’ decisive Game 3 vs. the Oklahoma City Blue. To get properly up to speed on the Maine Celtics’ title run and Boston’s postseason hardware potential, the hosts of the CLNS Media “Celtics Lab” podcast caught up with Noa Dalzell of Celtics Blog. We get into Maine’s surprising journey to the G league Finals, and take a microscope to which Cs might win what awards. We even get into some New England-isms and their icky origins on what, in the City of Boston, was “Mike Gorman Day.” The Celtics Lab podcast is brought to you by Prize Picks. “he probably said “go sports ball” and “i just hope they have fun” to trump and vance,” one fan joked.

One fan gave them a nickname: “The Trump Army of 2025.”

One final fan summd it up: “Mt Rushmore 2.0.”

Others attending the game included Defense Secretary nominee Pete Hegseth, Intelligence Director nominee Tulsi Gabbard, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.), and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

As for the game that Trump and company were watching, the #19 AP-ranked Army Black Knights were shocked as they fell by a score of 31-13 to the Navy Midshipmen.

With the victory, the Navy won its 17th Commander-in-Chief’s Trophy, which was its first since 2019.

Army had just won the AAC Championship game last week and Navy had a strong season as well.

Donald Trump Posed With Controversial Figure Daniel Penny During Army-Navy Game

In the span of six days, Daniel Penny has gone from having his life hang in the balance in court to hanging out with the president-elect in a luxury suite.

The Marine vet received a hero’s welcome when he joined soon-to-be commander-in-chief Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance at the annual Army-Navy football game.

Penny has been a controversial figure ever since he was acquitted Monday by a Manhattan jury in the chokehold death of NYC subway rider Jordan Neely.
