Michael Jackson’s family ‘AT WAR’ with each other as Janet refuses to defend him
Janet Jackson has remained silent following the release of controversial documentary Leaving Neverland
Michael Jackson ‘s family are reportedly at war following the release of controversial documentary Leaving Neverland.
The film sees two men – James Safechuck and Wade Robson – claim they were sexually abused by Jackson when they were his child companions.
The King of Pop’s family members have been very vocal in speaking out against the accusers, branding them “opportunists” who see nothing but a “blank cheque”.
However, his sister Janet has remained silent throughout despite pressure from the family to speak out as the most high-profile relative.
A source close to the family told The Sun : “In the past week there have been discussions amongst the Jacksons about the documentary and how it will affect Michael’s legacy.

“Everyone wanted Janet to release a statement condemning the documentary because she is the most senior member of the family after Michael.
“They feel she could have done more to support him against the allegations.”
The insider claimed that several of Janet’s family members have made their feelings clear to her and urged her to say something in defence of her brother.

They added that Janet feels her career has always been separate from her family, and that she’d like to keep it that way, but that the family feels like her silence speaks volumes.
It’s been reported following the controversial film that Jackson’s music sales have plummeted.
According to The Hollywood Reporter sales of his extensive back catalogue, including hits with Jackson 5 and The Jacksons, has fallen by four per cent.
