LOOSE WOMEN continued this afternoon with Dancing On Ice judges and skating extraordinaires, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean, live in the studio to talk about all the backstage gossip.

Dancing On Ice is never without its drama but viewers were left stunned last weekend as model Caprice Bourret announced she would no longer be performing with her partner Hamish Gaman. Not only this, she made it very clear this weekend she would be dancing with a brand new partner. Host Kaye Adams wanted to know what was really going on from Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.
Jayne and Christopher joined Kaye, Nadia Sawalha, Brenda Edwards and Linda Robindson and Kaye took no time in asking about the drama.
This weekend will see Caprice skating with new professional skater Oscar Peters who was forced to step in after the model and Hamish “parted ways”.
Kaye asked: “So there is lots of drama on the ice and of course there is drama off the ice.
“I’ve got to ask you Chris, what’s happening with Caprice?”

He shook his head and explained: “You know, I think you know as much as we do, we only found out just before we went to air the other day they wouldn’t be performing.
“And now Caprice has a new partner, so moving on. And that’s as much as we know.”
Nadia chipped in: “So they didn’t get on,” leaving the panel and audience in hysterics.
Dancing on Ice host Holly Willoughby was the one to break the news last weekend telling the viewers Caprice and Hamish had “parted ways,” meaning the model didn’t skate.

She said: “Unfortunately Caprice and Hamish have parted ways and will not be skating this week.
“As you saw in our opening number, Hamish remains very much part of our professional team and we hope to have Caprice back on the ice next week.”
An ITV representative confirmed: “We’re pleased to say that Caprice is back on the ice today in training and very much working towards returning to the show on Sunday night.”
The model hasn’t given any indication as to what really happened as of yet.
It seems no one really knows what is happening, even the other contestants.
Magician and contestant Ben Hanlin joined Jeremy Vine yesterday and the inevitable question reared its head.
Jeremy asked what had happened and Ben gave a similar answer to Christopher today, replying: “They did an announcement at the start of the show on Sunday just saying Caprice and Hamish won’t be dancing together and she’s got a new partner.
“She’s back on the show Sunday with a new partner and Hamish is still a part of the show and he’ll be skating within all the pro numbers.”
But Jeremy replied: “I think falling out with your partner on a dance show has to be catastrophic.”
Jayne and Christopher’s interview ended as Brenda tried to move the conversation on and asked about Joe Swash, who has a baby with Loose Women panellist Stacey Soloman.
She said: “Speaking about some of the contestants on the show, our lovely Stacey’s Joe.
“How’s he doing and what advice would you give him?”
Christopher answered quickly and said: “Skate,” leaving the panellists laughing again.
It’s no a secret Joe has become known for procrastinating in rehearsals, recently revealing he’s put on weight from the snack table – but who will thrive this weekend?
