Caitlin Clark and Boyfriend Connor McCaffery Tell Each Other ‘Love You’ as They Celebrate Her 23rd Birthday
The couple, who have been dating since April 2023, have long supported one another
It’s Caitlin Clark’s Jordan Year — and Connor McCaffery is here for it!
On Thursday, the WNBA star’s longtime boyfriend toasted her 23rd birthday with a carousel of images of the couple, and with a tribute to the basketball phenom.
“Happy 23rd CC ❤️ (finally we’re celebrating together this year 🥹)!” McCaffery, 26, wrote on Instagram. “You have an incredible ability to inspire and lift up those around you, and I am lucky to learn from you every day. Thank you for always being you 🤞🏼I love you 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼”
In the trio of sweet snaps, the couple of a year-plus are seen embracing, preparing for a glam night and relaxing on a boat.
“Awh🥺 love you ❤️🔥🖤” Clark wrote in the comments.

McCaffery, an assistant coach at Butler University, has long supported the league’s reigning Rookie of the Year in social media posts, and has been by her side at an array of events over the past year as she’s transitioned from college basketball star to professional athlete.
Last week, the two were in attendance for the second-ever Indy Ignite volleyball game, days before Clark took on the Kansas City Chiefs game, alongside Taylor Swift in a suite.
At one point, the superstar and the Swiftie were seen celebrating Travis Kelce’s pivotal touchdown.
The previous time the Chiefs played the Houston Texans, on Dec. 21, Clark turned up to support McCaffery, whose Bulldogs took on UConn.
And after McCaffery’s new job was announced in September 2024 — following a stint working for the Indiana Pacers — Clark couldn’t hold back her pride.
Clark excitedly shared the news on her Instagram Stories, writing, “Yayyy!!! So happy for you 🤍,” alongside the official post from Butler.
