Houston Texans Star WR Tank Dell Is Reportedly Done

Houston Texans superstar wide receiver Tank Dell underwent another procedure that could sideline him for the entire 2025 season.
Tank Dell suffered a gruesome leg injury in the Texans’ Dec. 21 road loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. After being taken off the field, it was announced that Tell dislocated his knee, damaged his meniscus and suffered ACL, MCL and LCL tears.
According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC, Houston’s star pass-catcher is undergoing surgery today to repair his torn ACL. Dell previously underwent surgery on his LCL and MCL.
As noted by Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk, Tank Dell is “unlikely to be ready early in the 2025 season.” Recovery from a torn ACL after surgery usually takes 6-9 months, but it could take longer for Dell since he’s also recovering from a dislocated knee and multiple tears.
Unfortunately, Dell’s dazzling 2023 rookie season also ended abruptly when he suffered a fractured fibula in a game against the Denver Broncos. At the time of his injury, Dell had 47 catches for 709 yards and seven touchdowns.
In 14 games this past season, Dell had 51 catches for 667 yards and three touchdowns. Houston went on to win its second straight AFC South division title and Wild Card Round game before falling to the Kansas City Chiefs in the Divisional Round.

Boston snatches victory from the jaws of defeat in Game 6 with Greg Brueck-Cassoli
With the Boston Celtics’ season — and perhaps much more — on the brink in Game 6 of their 2023 Eastern Conference semifinals series with the Philadelphia 76ers, the Celtics needed to put it all out on the court for a win. Tank Dell Injury Means Texans Must Find WR Help In Offseason
